Al-Aqsa Mosque According To Islamic Theory | A Brief But Comprehensive Introduction To Al-Aqsa Mosque

Al-Aqsa Mosque Introduction to Islamic Theory

Al-Aqsa Mosque is called the first Qibla of Muslims. From the Islamic point of view, it has the status of the holiest place after the Kaaba and the Prophet's Mosque. This mosque is located in the eastern part of Beit al-Maqdis, the capital of Palestine, which is currently occupied by Israel. It is said that there is a capacity of 5,000 worshipers inside the mosque, but there are also large courtyards in which thousands of people can pray.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is mentioned in the first verse of Surah Bani Israel of the Holy Quran. This verse refers to the ascension of the Prophet of Islam. This incident, in its place, indicates the greatness and excellence of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It has been said in the Holy Quran:

(Glorified is He Who took His servant night by night from Masjid Haram to Masjid Al-Aqsa around which We have made blessed so that We may show him Our signs.)
Sura Bani Isreal Verse No, 01.

Journey to Al-Aqsa Mosque:

Al-Aqsa Mosque is said to be the first Qiblah of Muslims because after the obligation of prayer in Miraj Sharif, for sixteen to seventeen months, Muslims turned towards the same mosque and prayed. The order came and the Kaaba was declared as Qiblah. However, due to being the Qiblah of the Prophet of Islam and Muslims for a long time, Aqsa Mosque got a special place.
According to hadiths, traveling to Masjid Haram, Masjid Al-Aqsa, and Masjid Nabawi is blessed. According to some tr aditions, Masjid Kufa is also considered among the noble mosques to which traveling is a blessing.

Bait al-Maqdis before Islam:

Beit al-Maqdis has been under the rule of different nations at different times. Hazrat Musa (AS) ordered his people to enter this city, but they refused. Then the Israelites wandered in the desert for a while, then they came towards this city and conquered it. After that, Jews ruled the city for different periods. Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) also belonged to Bani Israel. During his life, the Jews persecuted him and refused to accept his divine position and status, but later Christians also ruled this city for a while.

Bayt al-Maqdis in the Embrace of Islam:

Muslims conquered Bayt al-Maqdis during the reign of Hazrat Umar bin Khattab in 15 Hijri. Hazrat Umar himself also reached this city. Sakhra, near the Al-Aqsa Mosque, is the place from where the Prophet (PBUH) ascended. The image that emerges in front of the eyes with the mention of Al-Aqsa in the world today is that of the same place on which a dome was built during the reign of Abdul Malik bin Marwan. At the time of his departure, Hazrat Umar ordered the construction of a mosque near the place where the rock and burqa were tied. He also offered prayers there. Since this place is very close to Al-Aqsa Mosque, this mosque was later called Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The population of Palestine gradually accepted Islam. In this way, the land of Palestine came under the embrace of Islam. Apart from a small population of Jews, some Christian population has always been present in this land. Since this land has always been the center of prophets before the Prophet of Islam, it is still respected by the three major religions of the world. Perhaps no other land in the world has this feature and status.

Founder of Al-Aqsa Mosque:

This question is very important who is the founder of Al-Aqsa Mosque, some people consider Hazrat Adam (AS), some say Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and some say Hazrat Yaqoob (AS) as its founder, Israel is also the name of Hazrat Yaqoob (AS) and his descendants. called Bani Israel. One of his descendants, Hazrat Sulaiman (AS) also built a temple here. This is called the Temple of Solomon. Some people say that Hazrat Sulaiman renovated the temple which was built by Hazrat Yaqub (peace be upon him) or which was already there. Since the Jews do not believe in Jesus and Prophet Muhammad, therefore, the things that are related to these two persons are not even worthy of their respect. They say that the building of Sulaimani Temple is located under the place where the Al-Aqsa Mosque is located. Therefore, their wish is to demolish the Al-Aqsa Mosque and restore the Soleimani Temple.

During the reign of Abdul Malik bin Marwan:

After Yazid bin Muawiyah, Marwan bin Hukm took over the government as Yazid's son refused to sit on the throne. Marwan's reign did not last long. After his death, or according to one saying, his murder, the government fell into the hands of Abdul Malik bin Marwan. At the beginning of his reign, Makkah was ruled by Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Zubair. On the occasion of Hajj, he used to invite pilgrims to him. Abdul Malik did not want to attract people from Syria to his side. He thought it appropriate to tell the people that Masjid Al-Aqsa has the same greatness as Masjid Haram. One can also go to it for Hajj. So he started the reconstruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque, making the Dome of the Rock very beautiful, but the construction work could not be completed during his time, his son Walid bin Abdul Malik completed the construction of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Abbasid ruler Abu Jafar Mansoor. also repaired this mosque.

During the reign of Saladin Ayyubi:

After the First Crusade, Christians captured Jerusalem. He made many changes to it and built many new buildings, later Salahuddin Ayyubi defeated the Christians in 1187, occupied Bait al-Maqdis, and restored the Islamic relics. He cleansed the mosque with Christian signs.

Fire in Sulaiman's Temple and Al-Aqsa Mosque:

They do not have any evidence or evidence for the claim of the Jews about the Temple of Solomon, popularly known as the Temple of Suleimani, under the building of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. However, they hold the same belief and as we said, they want to pull down the temple and excavate it, according to them. Because of this belief, on August 21, 1969, an Australian Jew, Dennis Michael Ruhan, set fire to the first Qibla, which caused the Al-Aqsa Mosque to be engulfed in flames for three hours and a large part of the south-eastern side of the Ain Qibla collapsed. The pulpit in the mihrab was also set on fire. It should be remembered that Saladin Ayyubi installed this minbar after the victory of Bait al-Maqdis. Salah al-Din Ayyubi fought about 16 wars for the liberation of Qibla I and during each war, he carried this pulpit with him so that after the victory he could install it in the mosque.

Formation of OIC for Al-Aqsa Mosque:

The tragedy of the fire in Al-Aqsa Mosque proved to be a new turning point in history, after which a wave of anxiety and anxiety spread among Muslims. An awakening also arose among the Muslim rulers. As a result, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) came into existence, the first meeting of which was held in Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Former President Yahya Khan represented Pakistan. This Zionist conspiracy was strongly condemned in the conference, but later the OIC did not play any role in the liberation of Jerusalem, but it gradually moved away from the high Islamic goals. It is now believed that the OIC was created to cool down the inflamed Muslim sentiments against Zionism.
 Beit al-Maqdis before the Israelites
Some people believe that Jews or Israelites have always lived in Palestine. This idea is due to the absence of history because the Jewish religion started after Prophet Moses (peace be upon him). Hazrat Musa brought the children of Israel out of Egypt. He commanded the children of Israel to enter the holy city which we have already mentioned. This means that this city was sacred to God even before the entry of the Bani Israel, where at that time there was a cruel king who had a very powerful army that scared the Bani Israel.

This land was always sacred:

Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) also left the land of Nimrod and took refuge in that land. Hazrat Lut (peace be upon him) was also with him. The verses of the Holy Qur'an testify that Allah Ta'ala declared this land holy during that time. This reinforces the fact that the Kaaba and the land of Bait al-Maqdis have been declared holy by God from the beginning. It does not belong to any nation, but it also shows that Allah Almighty does not want any rebellious or oppressive nation to occupy these holy places. Therefore, Bani Israel was assigned to drive out the tyrant ruler who was already there, even if a nation starts oppression later, it has no right to this land. However, on the other hand, a nation that stands up against oppression and intends to rule with justice should take steps to liberate these blessed places from the oppressors by standing up according to the divine Sunnah.

The oldest tribe in Palestine was the Canaanites Our opinion is supported by the fact of history that the first settlers in Palestine were the Bodubashes and the Canaanites who settled there six thousand years before AD, an Arab tribe who migrated to Palestine from the Arabian Peninsula. came. After this tribe settled here, this land was named Palestine. In this regard, Ahmad Al-Awadi has presented his position with historical references in his book Al-Zioniya Nishatha, Tanzimatha, and Anshtatha. A hundred years later they entered the land, which is about fourteen hundred years before Christ.

Testimony of the Holy Quran

Let's look at some verses of the Holy Quran in this regard.

Regarding Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Lot, Surah Anbiya says:

(And We delivered him (Ibrahim) and Lot to the land which We have blessed for all the worlds.)
Sura Al Anbiya Verse No, 71.

It is evident from this Ayah Majida that the land of Palestine and especially Bait al-Maqdis was declared by Allah as a blessed land even before Hazrat Ibrahim. Also, these blessings are not for any one nation but for all the world.

When the Children of Israel were freed from the oppression of Pharaoh and his people by Allah Almighty as a result of the efforts and efforts of Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him), they finally established a government on this land. In this regard, this land has been described as blessed in the verse in the Holy Quran. Thus it is said:

(And We made the weakened people inherit the east and the west of the land in which We have blessed.)
Sura Al Araaf Verse No, 137.

That is, this land did not become blessed by the arrival of Bani Israel, but it is already blessed by Allah.

The incidents of Hazrat Sulaiman (peace be upon him) have been described from different aspects in different surahs of the Holy Qur'an. Thus it is said:

(And for Solomon We subjugated the strong winds which flowed by his command towards the land which We have blessed.) Sura Al Anbiya Verse No, 81.

These verses show that this land was blessed before Abraham, it was blessed after him, it was blessed when the Israelites came, and it was blessed during the time of Solomon. And when the last Prophet (PBUH) came, this land was also blessed at that time, as we have already mentioned in this verse of Surah Bani Israel, in which the event of Ascension is indicated:

(Glorified is He Who took His servant night by night from Masjid Haram to Masjid Al-Aqsa around which We have made blessed so that We may show him Our signs.) Sura Bani Isreal Verse No, 01.!?

Six Simple Mindfulness Exercises That Will Keep Your Memory Young Even At 80

Do You Also Remember: The dialogues of your favorite movies you watched in your childhood and youth, but now as you grow older, the dialogues heard in the movies you watched with great interest are distant, you also have trouble remembering the name of the movie. It happens...! And do you hold any of your medicines or food supplements and stare at them for a long time wondering if I've taken the tablet or have yet to take it? Or let's say that last night while sitting and eating with the family, which chapter of the book you were trying to read, you kept it locked, while you are the one who was a child. After reading the lesson, Farfar used to recite it to the teacher in class the next day and received applause almost every day. Know that you are not alone in this disease of forgetfulness, there are people around us whose memory is getting harder as the months and years go by, but the good thing is that working on improving your memory is a little more difficult.
